a little vendor awdesh

13-year-old Awadhesh is filling his sisters and his stomach by selling vegetables. Surprisingly, no one has taken care of him. Why the story of Awadhesh is going to raise questions on every responsible person of the society, for this, Rehria village with a population of about 3000 has to be known.

The condition here is mixed. There is also a farmer and a family of occupation. Poor as well as rich. But nobody's attention has gone towards Awadhesh yet. About 50 families in the village depend on wages, who work in the metros for employment. Some might say that if the children were brought to eat, they would have asked for food from someone in the village. 13-year-old Awadhesh answers this without losing a moment. It is said that the mother-father has taught her the Khudari. If it helps, it will be fine, but it will not spread its hand to anyone. If he asked for food, what would the mother-father give him when he returned. He too felt ashamed in front of everyone. I wake up at 4 am every day. No matter how hard you try to bring vegetables and sell, your sisters will not face difficulty. Awadhesh could not even read after 5th under the burden of household responsibility. Two sisters Nandni 5th and Moni are studying in primary school of village 3.

There is a ration card, but not the mother: The family's ration card is made but the mother is in the name of Shivrani. It was said that she would get ration only.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------13  साल का अवधेश सब्जी बेचकर अपनी बहनों का और अपना पेट भर रहा है। हैरानी इस बात की है की किसी ने उसकी सुध नहीं ली।  अवधेश की कहानी क्यों समाज के हर जिम्मेदार पर सवाल खड़ी करने वाली है, इसके  लिए करीब ३ हज़ार की आबादी वाले रेहरिया गाँव को जानना होगा। 

यहाँ के हालत मिले -जुले  हैं। किसान भी है  और नौकरी पेशा परिवार भी। गरीब भी है  और अमीर भी। पर किसी का धयान अवधेश की ओर अब तक नहीं गया है। गाँव के करीब 50 परिवार मजदूरी पर ही निर्भर हैं ,जो रोज़गार के लिए महानगरों में नौकरी करते हैं। कोई कह सकता है की बच्चों को खाने के लाले थे तो गाँव में किसी से खाना मांग लेते। 13 साल का अवधेश इसका जवाब एक पल गंवाए बिना दे देता है। कहता है की उसको माँ -बाप  ने खुद्दारी सिखाई है। मदद मिली तो ठीक मगर वह किसी के आगे हाथ नहीं फैलाएगा। खाना मांगता तो माँ -बाप के लौटने पर उन्हें क्या मुआह दिखाता। वह भी सभी के सामने लज्जित महसूस करते। रोज़ सुबह 4 बजे उठ जाता हूँ। सब्जियाँ लाकर बेचने में चाहे जितनी मेहनत लगे ,अपनी बहनों को मुश्किल नहीं आने दूंगा। अवधेश घर की ज़िम्मेदारी के बोझ तले 5 वीं के बाद पढ़ भी नहीं सका। दो बहनें नंदनी ५ वीं  और मोनी गाँव के ही प्राइमरी स्कूल में 3 में पढ़ रही है। 

राशन कार्ड है ,पर माँ नहीं : परिवार का राशन कार्ड बना है लेकिन माँ शिवरानी के नाम है। कहा गया की वो आएगी तभी राशन मिलेगा।
